What can I say in a public speech of child abuse as a pet peeve?

  • Please choose a different topic. Child abuse is a terrible crime, not something as lightweight and silly as a "pet peeve."

    A more appropriate pet peeve would be something like "people who don't return phone calls" or "people who borrow things and return them in bad shape."

    Rather than call it a pet peeve, I call it advocating for child abuse prevention. Be an advocate to fight against this criminal behavior.

    I'd describe pet peeves are just irritating behaviors where no laws are necessarily broken.
