Most I know of just reimburse your expenses. You might look in your own town for agencies that do this service. Perhaps if you did some work for a local company on a face-to-face basis, they would be more likely to front you some expense money. This is tough with the economy being what it is because most of these companies don't get the money to reimburse you with from the client until 15-30 days after the report is submitted and the client pays them. If you can get reimbursed quicker than that, you're doing good!
