  • No! Its against the terms of service & your friend could lose access to it. Instead go to your public library after checking to see if they have access to one of the many systems available online.
  • One of the best places to go for genealogy information is your local genealogy library from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They have almost 5000 (five thousand, no kidding) libraries around the world. They are usually staffed with very helpful volunteers (surprisingly, many of the volunteers are genealogy buffs who are not members of that church- so don't worry about them trying to convert you). Most of the libraries have free web access to lots of genealogy websites (like ancestry.com)that usually require paid subscriptions. Best of all, all of their libraries are FREE.
