The unconditional love you receive from your child. Even though, during the teen years my son copped an attitude, eventually he grew out of it, and we have a very close bond now. +4

A never ending list!!! The first smile, first rolls over, first sitting up, first steps, first words......then there is the first flu bug and the first fever, first broken limb.....HA HA HA! I guess it isn't all good! :-) +5

For me it was the litle events. The getting off the school bus with drawings he made at school and him running to me giving it to me and saying I love you, the smiles, the first step, all the firsts.

every little thing your kids do for you is probably the best thing. A parent's love can never be repaid. God gave us two parents, not three, not four, not a hundred. Two. You have just enough people to take care of you, and just enough people to share love with, personal secrets, and private family time.

Every stage has its matchless moments that make it the best in its own way. I'd have to say that snuggling and hugs when they're not "too old" yet is the best. Having a baby or 1-year-old resting with his or her head on your shoulder is pure heaven.
