No. There are no good spells to start with if you are new to the craft. If you are new, you should not be doing any casting. Wicca is not just about casting spells and making potions. Before practicing the craft one must research it heavily. Try wicca.com or witchoftheeast.com for some good books to start with and go from there. Avoid anything written by Silver Ravenwolf.
