Type in using your DOS Command Prompt in Windows under Accessories System Tools I believe: tracert www.thewebsiteyouwanttocheckhere.com Hit Enter and watch it go from hop to hop. Any asterisks or long delays are a bad sign of trouble there. EDIT: You can also use the RUN CMD as the other person said. Some people find it easier to find one over the other.

For OS X: Go to Applications, then Terminal. Type in "traceroute website.com". Hit enter. For most Unix breeds: open the command line, type in "traceroot website.com". Hit enter. For Windows: hit start, run, type in cmd, hit enter. Type "tracert website.com". Have fun hopping around!
