I like them when they are in a sandwich or a soup or chili, etc. I don't like stewed tomatoes or fried tomatoes or tomatoe aspic.

I like raw tomatoes. I can't stand big chunks of cooked or stewed tomatos. I like smooth sauce on my spaghetti. I usually stack piles of chunks when I go to a nice italian resturant.

I can't really remember a time when I didn't hate fresh tomatoes. It's such a perfect way to ruin a cheeseburger. However, I love tomato products, such as ketchup, pizza sauce, tomato soup, etcetera, but I just really can't stand the texture of a fresh tomato. I've always said that they weren't done in the middle. I get grossed out seeing seeds run out of a cut tomato. Sadly, restaurants (and especially fast food restaurants - Taco Bell for instance) put them in EVERYTHING! Also, I don't care for large chunks of cooked tomatoes in anything either and think that stewed tomatoes are just plain disgusting.
