God. He has a plan for me that will make me happy, best use the talents He gave me, benefit others, and build His kingdom. It is up to me to discover and follow that plan. That plan may involve personal sacrifice and hardship, but nonetheless, it is on that plan I will be most satisfied and content. It is not a plan designed to destroy me, but to build me up. It will probably not be a plan that looks like the world's plan or a human plan for personal happiness. The apostles all met terrible ends and lived lives of poverty. Nevertheless those that wrote letters reported being content with their lot. I will probably never be wealthy or drive a Mercedes, but I will have enough. Where I am best using what God created me to be, I will be content.
