I say as I read out loud...Isnt this interesting? My, this is sure interesting. Man this is interesting. And i read the glossary and other interesting chapters in the back of the books. quizes, answers to quizes, self quizes, glossary, index, other interesting stuff.

Procrastinate until I have to cram for a test! Last minute desperation is a great motivator for me! Most of the time it works, but then I always find myself wishing I had more time to study. :)

Without th e desire for knowledge it would defaet the object of the exercise.

I don't have to motivate myself. I adore my course of study, and the drive to learn more about it is sufficient.

Tell people that I will talk to them later, and tell myself I can't talk to them until I've studied, because I love talking to people.

I usually give myself gifts for a job well done. For example, I'll do about half an hour of pure study, then I'll let myself have a piece of chocolate, listen to a song, or read a couple of pages in my latest book, before I get back to studying. Then I repeat the whole thing over again. :D

I just give my aunt who's son is in jail for a long time a call and ask how he is.I KNOW how he is I just want her to tell me.

I think of the satisfaction of completing something, and I try to have fun doing it, knowing I'll be rewarded.

You can go on site's like this one and find ways to distract yourself like i am presentlly doing. monday shmonday... i've got plenty of time. Besides ..who can think when you have a four year old mommas boy on your hip. Ahhh!

Set a time for when you should study. Do all of your outdoor chores in the early part of the day.

I think of what will happen if I don't study. The humiliation of being unprepared for a briefing,etc. Remember the six P's: Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. +5

I never really had to be motivated too much. I was one of the closet bookworms. Learning, investigating, gaining knowledge and wisdom has always been something important to me. +4

I don't need to, i know i have to so why go through all this motivation, and organization crap, just study as efficiently but as quickly as you can.

I motivate myself to study even if I am my own teacher, by wanting to succeed in a new job that requires much knowledge to do my work properly. It is work I am really interested in doing and that keeps me going.

I put some headphones on and listen to my favorite music.
