buy lens cleaner.and if they want to add the protective coating ,do it.

Make sure you get glasses that your nose supports correctly, otherwise your glasses will slip or be too close to your eyes.
-
Make sure you get a lens large enough to make it so you can see. One of the kids that works for me got these little tiny ones and the prescription does not fit properly. His field of vision is very small. He is already saving for new ones.

Ask the shop assistant as well as the optometrist their opinion of the frames that would best suit your face, no point buying a pair you are too embarrassed to wear (I have to pick up my pair this week). +

I wear glasses, and I got the transitions lenses, the ones that turn into sun glasses. I absolutely love them. (not necessarily wearing the glasses but having them turn into sun glasses). If it is an optionn for you then I would talk to the optician about that as well.

Yes speak to your optician as some frames may not be suitable for the strength of some peoples lenses, do you need to wear them all the time?If so you want to look at a light weight pair which you really suit and feels comfortable when wearing them choose a colour that you like and suit and a style you like an suit also Good luck
