I have 94 Saturn SL2 it idles a little high now in gear and in park it fluxuates to 2000 rpms then settles down to high idle also have to floor it to start it any suggestions

sounds like one of two things, the idle air control (IAC) or the throttle positioning sensor (TPS) both will cause the problems you've mentioned.
