No, I never accept anoyomous people, if you really want to be my friend, just give yourself a real screen name! +4
-
No, of course not. I've never accepted friend requests from anyone "anonymous," or just anyone I don't know very well. There's nothing wrong with that at all.
-
Not at all - just looked at my friends and I have a whole host of blue anonymous bags there; they all look the same and I wouldn't be able to tell them apart if I tried.....it's a good stance and one I may well adopt too!
-
No I will not accept any friend requests unless you have something in common with me. Why would you wanna look at your friends questions and disagree with most of what you read, and vice versa.
-
No it isn't bad. I know many ABers who do that. +5
-
It's an arbitrary decision to make; the name "Anonymous" doesn't detract from someones viewpoints, which is likely why you're accepting a friend request.
-
Not at all - I feel the same way sometimes :-/
-
you are the only one who can make that decision we cant do it for you.
-
just what has Anne Nonemous done,,,,would really like to know this before i make my decission,,,,lol,,,sorry jugs being bad again,,,,

Hi Payton, I'm glad you asked this question! I recently came over from MSFT QnA, and about 1/2 my friends here are from there. I was also fortunate to receive friend invitations from several AB members who greeted me with a warm welcome here! Several people have sent me invitations that I have never interacted with or even seen before. I don't mean to be unfriendly, but I am hesitating until I learn more about them before I accept. "Friend" means something to me, and if I am going to be friends with someone, I want it to mean something. In terms of actually being friends with someone who wants to remain "anonymous," I just couldn't do it - at least not now. Thanks again for offering a great question! :-))
-
You know, I never realized -- I have lots of friends but no anonymouses. But I never really thot about it til now. I guess I support your thinking!
-
I never have but I have about 10 Anonymous on my friends list they seem to creep in there all on their ownsome.
-
Right and wrong are matters of opinion. I totally understand why you have decided to not accept anonymous invites. The thing that baffles me is when I see anonymous users who are up to like level 52. I can't imagine why they haven't come up with something by now.
-
I reject Anonymous users without even looking to see what level they are or what they've asked
-
I think its a good choice.
-
No not at all, in order to be considered a friend, certain personal information must be shared so that you know if you can trust them, anonymous is not friend its anonymous; an outsider with questions.
-
I can't imagine why it would be wrong. But most of us here are anonymous. I'll allow that my name really isn't 23Skidoo :-) But I hear ya. An AB identifier just seem polite to me. +5
-
I think it's just all up to you.
-
I dont accept them either but somehow they manage to hop on
-
no it the right decision how do you sort one from the other lol
