  • Without doing a whole lot more research, I would suggest its fake, or its being misinterpreted. If we find the same thing in a few more sites, perhaps there will be a small argument to be made against the mountains of evidence FOR evolution.
  • Is this were real it would have been an amazingly famous find. Given the ease with which such a video can be produced and the lack of supporting material - I'd say it is fake. But I'll look a bit deeper and see what I can dig up. BTW - that human footprint looks like it was made in a special effects studio. Have you ever seem a footprint in the dirt or mud with each toe so distinct and everything? Just a thought.
  • My first question is why an anthropologist is looking for dinosaur footprints in the first place. They look at human history and culture, not natural history. My second question is whether they have dated the rock. Science can do that you know, see how long ago a fossil has been around for. My third question is: has this been written into any proper scientific journals, and why haven't I heard anything on the news? You'd think that, if it were true, the media would be eating it up.
  • Any argument for the authenticity of the Paluxy tracks has been largely abandoned. In 1980, closer examination of the prints showed that they did not belong to a human, but were the elongated prints of a dinosaur. When properly cleaned, many of the prints were found to only have three toes. Any similarity between the prints found and a human footprint is the result of "selective highlighting" and, as noted in 1985 and perhaps earlier, deliberate alterations. The anthropologist, Carl Baugh, is a staunch creationist who's made other equally ridiculous assertions about early earth (for example, that people can affect radioactive decay with their minds). I should also note that while Baugh claims that he has credentials in scientific fields, these have remained unverified. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/paluxy.html http://www.talkorigins.org/indexcc/CC/CC101.html
