I just turn around and say out loud in general, "would you please stop pushing my seat with your foot". Normal parents would take over from there. If they arent normal parents I dont care if Ive hurt their feeling then.

I will firstly turn and look at said child, if this doesn't prompt the parents to stop it I will politely ask them to sort it. If they fail to respond, I will turn around again and sweetly tell them that if they don't stop the constant kicking of the back of my chair I am going to rip said childs leg off! That ought to get a reaction!

Assassination is always an option.

First I would turn around and look at the kid in the eyes. No emotion needed. Then if it continued I would do the same but to the parents. If it Still continued I would ask the child to Please Stop pushing my seat. Now, we live in a crazy world and in some cases this may not stop the rudeness, so then I would take drastic action-shake up the bottle of soda and let-her-rip at 'em. lol No, I may end up leaving if it was bad enough. I am not sure if asking for the manager would even do anything or it would be petty-but if I paid to see a film then I should be allowed to view it without interuption.

That happened to me at a colliseum. I turned around, looked at the kid and shook my head. He continued when I turned around. The parents saw it and ignored it! I turned around again and in a stern voice told the kid to stop it. He did it again! The parents did nothing. I then stood up, looked directly at the parents and told them that if their child did that one more time and they didn't control him, we were going to have a real problem. They finally had no choice. The father picked him up (the kid was about 4 or 5) and held him tightly on his lap for the rest of the time so he couldn't do it anymore. Sad that it took me getting in their face before they decided to discipline their own child.

Turn around and stare at them while growling like a possesed wolf. See if the little bugger wants to even get near me then.

I would turn around and tell the kid to stop. If it didn't stop, I would turn around and tell his parents to control him. If they still wouldn't do anything about it, I would go and get someone who worked there and tell them that these parents can't control their child. I have no patience for people like this, and I wouldn't feel bad for getting them kicked out of the movie.

... stand up, turn around, slowly extend arm & point at the kid, and in a very loud booming voice, making sure the entire theatre can hear, say, "Some one had better control that idiot brat of a kid before I get violent!" ... "Well ... I'm waiting to see some disciplinary action ..."

Tell the little brats you just heard an ice cream truck outside, that sould give you about 20mins of peace while they go look!

A very loud fart might get them all to get up and leave.. Short of that either the kid goes or I go.. I'm not going to fight with anyone over a kid poking my seat.
