  • It would not alarm me, because I think deep down a lot of people think that (even women). But it would bother me, because it would show he had not given many women the chance to make decisions, to know that they CAN make decisions as well as men.
  • It would amuse me. For any male that would speak that opinion has already proven that he makes bad decisions.
  • Sotomayor made a similar comment and its been ignored by all but a few.
  • It would alarm me becaus he is so honest!
  • I would hate it! There is less of IQ to do with gender!
  • It would anger me, not alarm me.
  • Considering the usual drivel, bunk, and nonsense - the majority of it far from inoccuous - that spews from the mouths of major politicians I'd have to say that that one by comparison isn't alarming at all. It's at least got some basis in fact :) "Most of America's current political woes can be directly traced to our absurd experiment with women's suffrage." ~ Ann Coulter
  • I would be alarmed - but only because of his stupidity. Hes would have just angered HALF his voters(going by half are female, other half male which is just general) so I doubt he would get re-elected...and even if he did believe it, someone should fire is team for letting him say that anyway. IQ hasn't got much to do with gender anyway. There are diferences in what gender is better at different subjects, but even that is changing.
  • I would seek which decisions the politician is referring to. Context, context, context.
  • Why would it? It was said for centuries without it being a problem. I think the real issue is with our ignorant and un-educated population that use one sentence from an eight page speech given eights years ago as evidence of racism... I'll take the Princeton and Yale Law student (both on full scholarship) whose been a judge on the US Court of Appeals for the last eleven years any day over a random ignorant conservative who takes things out of context because they have no legitimate argument...IDK, maybe I'm crazy for that.
  • if you are going to ask a loaded question, include the entire quote and context instead of an edited version meant to sound even more inflammatory.
