Some spectacles from my Great-Grandparents would be my guess. However, there are other items from them as well that could compete in years.

Antique map of pre-Revolutionary War east coast of US. I think I also have a family Bible from Germany, but I don't think that's in the house, per se.

The house itself is one of the oldest things, bits of it dating from about 1700. However, my wife has some Elizabethan lacework which will be from the late 1500s or early 1600. We have a small bit of military hardware from about 1645.

The first thought came to my mind was : My loving mother." But since you asked me about an item : It is "German" make sewing machine (PFAFF) that my late grandfather gave to my mother as wedding gift in 1948.

I have a bottle of whisky from 1894, unfortunatly it is empty but the bottle is still there! I resued it a few years ago, it was used as a candle stick holder! My dad has a VC from the napolian wars (we think it is real but have never had it checked out, they people want 10% of its value just to check it, if it is real its worth ALOT and we dont have the cash). My mum has a china set that was given to her by her great gran and was given to her by her great great gran so is atleast 200 years old. But the same thing as with the medal!

I have an old trunk that was made in 1768 that I just cant get rid of for some reason, its not really attractive but I cant seem to part with it :)

Probably the couch that no one sits on... It was my ex boyfriends grandmothers couch... She gave it to us... and when he moved out... He didn't want it and either did she... So I'm stuck with it!!

At the present time? my mother-in-law, after she leaves, probably the leg of a baby grand piano built sometime in the early 1900's (not sure on the exact year). I would have the entire piano but hurricane katrina claimed that so all I have is the one leg I took off for insurance purposes.
