Why would any God let adults hurt children?

Because he gave us Free Will to choose the right or wrong path.

Any God wouldn't let the parents hurt their children because children are the earths future. They might be Presidents, lawyers, doctors, or surgeons. If they were abused they might be McDonald workers, hobos, or have a mental break down.

That's kinda like asking for gun control. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. God doesn't force anyone to do anything, nor does he prevent it. How can you know whether omeone is a good person, and to what degree, unless you let them display it?

He doesnt............Its the lack of God in those adults that hurts children. If they knew the teachings and followed them...they wouldnt hurt those children. They would raise them in a stable loving inviroment feeding their minds and spirits with good fruit. Not the fruit of evil acts. See....thats the problem. God is not the reason for any EVIL. its the LACK OF GOD in those men/women....that is. update - btw....just cuz a person claims a religion, or that they are christian...DOES NOT MEAN they know God, follow God....or are good people. It just means they "claim" a religion...and use the "image" of God...as an excuse.

Man has free will, and He allows much to happen so that others may see the need for Him in their lives and in the lives of others. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to Him, and be brought into heaven via salvation.

what I want to know is why is it that everyone blames God for their problems? God did not create man to be robots and HE DID give us free will.. accept that or not. Is it so hard to believe that some people really are just sick-minded? God does not want them to hurt people any more than you do. Romans 12:19 (New International Version) 19Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"[a]says the Lord. God lets no thing go un-noticed and they will be punished for it in this life or the next. But it is not up to us to jusge God'd timing.

God doesn't "let" people hurt other people. He created us to be creatures of choice. The outcome is that not all people will choose to do the right thing all of the time.
