I usually suffer with jet lag when I go that way but coming back it doesn't seem to be a problem! West to East is notorious for worsened jet lag!

West to East is typically worse from the U.S. Unless you cross the international dateline, in which case your really screwed. That's why I like traveling a north-south axis-you can fly for 10-12 hours and still be in the same time zone.

I'll fly for 30 hours this weekend to South East Asia.. I might sleep for 2 days straight when I land.

I had more jet lag going. We flew to Rome from Virginia a couple of months ago and I had to take a long nap in the afternoon. I just couldn't keep my eyes open. It wasn't too bad though when we came back home.

I get it both ways at times but east to west is easier for some reason.
