Why is it that when a couple gets pregnant they abort it when they are not ready and why are there some couples waiting for years to get pregnant but they just can't?

Because having a child is more than just popping one out when someone else wants one. The mother has to go through 9 months of inconvenience at best and sickness, bedrest, and hospitalization at worst. It interferes with their lives, plays havok on the woman's body, and for them is more trouble than it's worth. I won't even mention what happens if the biological mother decides to keep the child and how the adoptive parents then feel...

it's their right to. It's THAT woman's body. What if she has an STD? What if she's under 18? Her parents could disown her, especially under certain religions and races. What if the women has a physical ailment? Maybe she was raped, and doesn't want to have to hold a rapist's fetus for 9 months
