you!!!...lol, this is hard because I have made many friends here on AB and to try and single out just one would be unfair to all who have helped me ... but I can single out a couple for special mention " Babycakes" for her integrity and " Little Big Mouth " for wearing her heart on her sleeve and being the daughter I never had!... also Idne, Jodie 44, Mentalmum and many more

Just one? That's hard, I've found most ABers are really nice, normal people. Okay . . . Beavis has a great sense of humor, and has been very kind. (Polly Math thinks up some great questions, so does Demon Lexicon. Nunya is always positive. Chicago Lady is very nice. Timjon recently did me a favor. The list goes on, nobody be sad if I missed you, I'm bending the question rules. . .)

Nobody has made an impact on my life. There are some ABers who I admire and I hope I can trust that they are real and not a sock puppet or scammer. I did meet one ABer, so I can trust sm00z. There have been a few. The one that always comes to my mind first is babycakes. We were new friends just getting to know each other. I was falsely accused of something and she came to my rescue, she told anyone and everyone off if they messed with me about it. I will never forget the meaning of friend. There have been others, some of the most wonderful friends, babycakes and RosieG were my 2 first friends!:)

I was close to killing myself because I was going through a very hard time with my depression and Mensan convinced me to give life another try. I feel like I owe my life to him. I have never even met him but I think he is my favorite person in the world. I'm still not happy with my life, but I think that will change soon... especially since I know there are people like him in this world.

It's hard to narrow it down to one, but I will say that Amorphous Blob almost always makes me laugh.

Ec feels for all you guys (and of course, more importantly, you gals;)=). Never mind Dre, the trolls, or anyone else, the really true people here are what Ec enjoys. More importantly is the feeling I get when I cause a massive smile outbreak, or offer some truly welcomed advice or... Listen, no matter how many creeps there are in this world, or here at AB, there are MANY, many more good peeps. That's a fact yo...

There are numerous ABers that have educated and entertained me, thereby improving my life. I avoid listing them by name lest I forget someone or offend a fellow member that thinks their name should be included on my list. Rather, I do my best to let them know in a comment or answer.

I always hate to mention names cause I will forget someone and they will be upset. Sorry if I forget anyone: therapist is ready for baby 2, Nunya, Aris, have really been there for me when I needed them as well as Cog and so many others. Sorry if I forgot someone

Way to many to List,But I have some Great friends here and always will no matter what!!!!

Oh, I can't single anyone out, and really don't think you wanted that. Too many people on AB are really wonderful people to know and to get to know. Too many have made me feel my contributions mean something, to them and others. Too many have said they enjoy my off-the-cuff humor. I won't even TRY to list any. (Wouldn't want to piss anyone off that I didn't list them, you know! LOL) I DO miss a few that are on extended breaks or no longer here, but what can you do? (I know you miss at least one of them!) I just love that we can interact with people from all over the world relatively peacefully... That most of us can discuss differences like adults and agree to disagree if we get to a point where we see we're NOT going to make the other move their POV... That so many, from so far, and so many times show how much they care about others. Ya know... I didn't feel that much about our recent "loss". I felt more for those who felt it so strongly. And when the truth came out, I felt even more for them. I hope everyone's coming out if shock and feeling much better about being here. There are a LOT of people who care, me among them. ;-)

Well, I guess I'll pipe up here, finally! There are MANY fine people here whom I hold in great respect. I won't even try to list everybody on that list. But there is ONE who stands out, no doubt because I've actually known him nearly thirty years in real life: BigDaddyBS We met many years ago, and worked together way back when I was busting my *ss working my way through Purdue University. He knew me before I married my first wife, even. I can testify that he helped me a GREAT deal during a few times of TREMENDOUS stress in my life back then. I had girlfriend problems which were tearing me apart inside: moral issues which threatened my health, my school, and sometimes it even seemed my sanity. BigDaddyBS was calm and ROCK STEADY the whole time, never without a kind word, ever the sounding board, and just plain had a knack for keeping me from falling completely apart. And he plays a MEAN game of Euchre! (Word of advice: when we're partners, DON'T play against us...) BigDaddy: You are one HELL of a guy and I've been proud to call you my friend these past three decades.

There have been several ABers that have had a positive impact on me and have made things easier when they didn't even know it. There are more than I can list here without taking the chance of accidentally missing a name but they know who they are and I thank them. Of course a special thank has to go out to my daughter who helped me make it through winter and so much more. I don't know what I would do without the kind warmth that you share. Here's a little something that's not just for December; it's about hope:

thank you for changing the channel sixty b! i was looking for the mute button myself. what made me come back to ab after a few month hiatus were the friends i made here, you being among them. i feel i am profoundly changed for the better by every friend that i make. the meaningful experiences i share with friends are what matters most to me to in life. its all about the love for me. missed you all.

I wanted to say thankyou to the kind and caring Phillis, she had the time to listen to me the other day when I was not so smiley and needed to talk.

There has been a lot of folks here on AB that make me feel right at home! all the nice people is why I always come back! I love it here! It is a breath of fresh air! YCLYHO SPINDERELLA She is always so kind! perfectlyflawed is very kind, considerate, and an all around wonderful person! I would just like to send a special *thank you* to all the members on this site who continually show kindness, compassion, respect and support toward others, often in the face of their own adversities. I value such qualities and the people who offer them never fail to leave a very positive impact, not only on me, but also on the Ab community in general. It is those people who make a very real difference in the lives of those in need and those people who in my opinion deserve recognition for their efforts.

i will be diplomatic and say those on my freinds list! ;D

Hmm... well, there's Perfectly Flawed, who I met on AB, I talk to her on MSN and she often made me feel better when I was depressed and she is a very understanding person; then there's, er... actually, I'm not sure what his current AB name is, he changes it a lot, but it used to be Sakhalinski, and then it was Harry something something... anyway, I talk to him on MSN as well, and he makes me laugh quite a lot, gives logical advice when I ask him, usually, and makes me feel not so alone in my feminism, anti-racism, and liking books... ism. Ish. There's also my boyfriend and my best friend, but they impact my life off AB, so they don't count, I don't think.

There's Indigo - in the library with the vibrator, who I've been pretty regularly talking to for the past two or more years. She's pretty awesome, and Russian. Because of her, I now listen to better music, have someone intelligent to talk to with similar opinions, and an extra pair of nipples held in cold storage for the winter months. And there's Pretty Pirate, who keeps the beer cool and the sausages warm. She's helped me through some rough times, I don't know quite where I, or several other people, would be without her.

There are many who have brought a smile to my face during difficult times. Some have reminded me that life isn't so bad and that pitying myself is wasted emotion. This has been especially powerful for me on a number of occasions. If I listed everyone who had a positive impact on me, this would most likely be my longest answer ever (quite a feat when you consider how naturally verbose I am). Many of them wouldn't even know that they had helped me as I have often read an answer on a question and it helped me, though I may have never mentioned it to them. A special shout out would go to CP for always being able to make me smile, even through tears, and for forgiving me when I unintentionally hurt her feelings.

There have been so many wonderful people on AB. You have surprised me a few times with your wonderful timing, What would a day on AB be for without Spicy and Ditto? They are a riot. They are also very caring, honest, good people! Glad they ARE my friends!:)

I beleive the economy is the most influential factor of the life.

Stillme, I'm honored and humbled that you thought of me. You, Spicy and Sixty are all among the few I value seeing on AB when I log in. I'm always looking forward to talking with you. :-)

Remaining positive is very important to me. There are those here on AB who have helped me so much in that regard They are always a pleasure to see and I love seeing them pop in and start conversations with me. Although I hate to make a list because I know I'll surely miss someone, I think these people deserve to be recognized. There aren't any. I have however had a deep impact on a couple of AB'ers through emails. And not the false super-sweet-all-the-time shallow impact that a lot of people on here mistake for REAL impact.

There are a lot of members i like but i have to say that two of the best would have to be Eileen and Millenium. They got me through some crappy times. Thanks to both of them.
