Why does McDonald's have so many managers at one location? I've seen some that were small yet have at least 4-6 managers.

Because they need a manager on duty whenever they are open. If they open 16 hours a day 7 days a week, that is three managers before anybody has holidays or goes off sick, so you would need a minimum of 4 managers. If some of them choose to work short weeks, you need more.

"Managers" are exempt from overtime pay laws.

  • Maybe they are in training to work as Cheney's minions.
