Theodor Geisel (AKA Dr. Seuss). I think he may possibly be the best poet who ever lived! No. Really, I'm serious. I love rhyme, and I love the way he made up his own words for everything (including nouns, verbs, places, and characters) to tell his stories, instead of using real ones from our language. The man was a genius! Then, of course, Frost and Poe, who also rhymed. I think poetry should rhyme or why not call it very short prose?
