Depends on your personality,if you are self assured,outgoing and find yourself at ease with people you are not familiar with it shouldnt be a problem. On the other hand if you are the shy wallflower type of person i wouldnt advise it. Apart from that you will never know until you give it a go. Hope this helps!

depends on their attitude! is she/he going with the thought of being miserable or with the thought of having fun? most cruises have open seating at meal time--find someone else who is sitting alone and strike up a conversation. Look around for someone to start a conversation with: I like your hat, how are you enjoying the trip, etc. Fun is what you make it!

They can. That is if they decide to. If they think something along the lines of "Screw being the only person without a bf/gf I'm gunna live it up and have a shitload of fun....yeah!" But if you walk around saying "Oh my life sucks I'm single. Ahhh man, what's wrong with me? Why am I still single? Will I always be alone...oh god I'm always gunna be alone." Then you won't.

If the single person can have fun on land, they certainly can on a cruise as they will be exposed to great parties, great food and drink, great excursions, and like-minded people.

i would think a single person would have more fun ! no to answer to, no one else's feelings to consider, and total freedom to eye and flirt and go where the heart leads...

Yes. Just let people know you're single and mix with the rest of the folks. I have noted a number of single people both male and female when I have been on cruises.
