These days,Pornography is for men AND women,and these people who are adults(I believe 21 and up,not 18 till),choose this for themselves,so,no,I don't think that pornography is degrating to women,and as far as that statement goes,YES,I believe it to be EXTREMLY sexiest,because I believe that it implies women as being innocent as children,yet CLEARLY NOT the case!*

If it's degrading to women it is degrading to men too. We have Porn for Women now and one can say it degrades men. So my answer is yes, that's a sexist remark.

I believe it is sexist. Im a hyper feminist too, so I cant stand it if people say that. It implies that women are weak, can not stand up for themselves, are only looked at for their bodies etc, but like someone mentioned: men are featured in the porn vids too! And no one said it was degrading to them!

It is an extremely sexist statement, as it serves to remove and depower female sexuality. It says that women have no sexuality, paints women as frail, fragile beings who constantly need protection. A very sexist and patriarchal notion. The ironic part is that so many of the second-wave feminists embrace that idea. Which doesn't make them much different from the men who seek to reinforce the same notions. I consider myself a feminist, and I believe that sex is a positive, empowering force. I am a sexual being, and proud of it. And pornography is only degrading to someone who has a problem with female sexuality.

i dnt think its sexist. Its just an opinion, one that many men and women share. Personally, i dont porn as degrading in itself. i think that when people fail to see it as entertainment, and then push those activities on a partner who doesnt want them, that is degrading (and thats probably why it is being sought anyway)
