I don't think so. I quite like it.
-
No, this is the test. The punishment comes when you FAIL! That sounds kinda harsh, huh?
-
Only in the eyes of certain religious people.
-
There are times when I wonder that myself. But there are so many good things and so much beauty that it is sweet punishment if that`s what it is.But there are alot of bad things also.So I guess I don`t know.
-
In some parts of the world life is Hell.
-
If being sick after eating the entire jar of sweets can be considered punishemt, then yes, but I think it's rather consequence ;). candy is supposed to be good, we just misused it at some point in time. by the way: what kind of religious background does this person claim to have? I mean, it sounds kind of a simple way out of things. "the world is bad, so it must be punishment for something i don't remember doing" I prefer the bible, it may tell fantastic and unbelievable tales, but it makes more sense to me ;)

I think that living on earth could be a punishment for some, it depends on your situation and what you are carrying with you. Good question YL
-
No living on earth is a blessing..its people who create the punishment..we should all be happy that we have the chance and get on with it :D
-
I think that living on earth is very sacred. It's only a form of punishment if we allow things that go wrong to keep us down.
-
Since you insist on asking I will answer. Justice is 'balance'. This is something that cannot be administrated by any limited version of awareness. Initially you commit no 'injustice' until you abuse your freedom to violate any of the three basic wants of others: Safety (Quantifiable), Freedom (Choice), Love (Paradox). Justice must be done. If you incur a debt while on Earth then it must be paid in full before you are free to leave and go into other dream worlds or once again enjoy the abundance that Earth life has to offer. You will either pay this debt in the same life or another. This is done either by experience or by service. This does not mean that every life exists for the purpose of fulfilling debt or that every 'bad' thing is a form of punishment. It is not until you are free to and decide to leave Earth that you will be able to access the memories of all of your lives.
-
No not really but it can be hell. It's more like a recycle bin.
-
no it is only a test
-
How can you ask that with all the beauty around us? Forests, oceans, lakes, sunsets, deserts, good people, I could go on forever. We are what we make out of it. It will be good if you make it good or bad...
-
To some of us, it is
-
And is living on another planet a blessing.
-
If anything, it's punishment for the poor Earth.
-
Us living on earth is a punishment... for the earth. Beats me where did this beautiful planet went wrong.
-
There are many good things life on earth has to offer. There are many bad things as well. We all experience both to varying degrees. Enjoy the good, learn from the bad, carry a dream with you.
-
the punishment is the "curse" we bear....earth had nothing to do with it.....good living among the bad is the tribulation and trials a "good" person has to .....to be able to live "eternally " on this new earth...(paradise) ..."I AM making all things new,a new heaven and a new EARTH"...thatsJustme:)
-
No, of course living on this world full of diseases, death, war, nukes, stupidity, racism, religious extremism, tyranny, dictatorships, destruction, crime, rape, murder, vandalism, thoughtlessness, and stealing is not a... Okay, maybe a little. ._.'
-
For some yes, for some no!
-
Its better than living on say Jupiter, where you'd be crushed to death before you could even enjoy the punishment.
-
For me, every day living on earth is a gift.
-
If it is for you, then ur doin it wrong. Unless you were born into circumstances that placed happiness beyond your reach. That totally sucks. But either way, it's not punishment for something wrong that you did. You didn't do anything before you were on earth. You didn't exist.
-
some times it is
-
Nope but dealing with its inhabitants are.
-
No, it's lovely - besides there is absolutely nowhere is else to live.
-
Absolutely not. It's a privilege. And we should make the most of it, appreciate it and take care of the planet.
-
Either that or a crime
-
No it's not-- but it is a dress rehearsal.
-
only if you watch Oprah
-
it seems so when so many people keep stealing from you... but living on earth was supposed to be a gift to begin with... lets stop letting people steal... and start letting em have it!
-
No. I choose to believe that it's the reward.
-
Not for me yo...
-
No, living in Greenland is punishment. It's not even green.
-
Living on earth is what we were made for. I think it is an incredible blessing and joy to be alive and able to learn and use this earth, to form relationships with people and animals, to see the beauty of the earth itself. If this is a punishment, then spank me again and again :-)
-
It's a bless.
-
Quit trying to figure it out and live the life you've been given.
-
Absolutely if you want something simple to believe in and easy to make come true. Somehow I think there are better ways to live tho...but it's up to you.
-
Depends on how well you're living. Regardless, in many cases it isn't because the person has done anything wrong. Bad things happen to good people, after all. As far as Biblical references go... Give me a freaking break. :)
-
Just living amongst its people is.
-
Sometimes, it sure is. I'm ready to go home. +5
-
no....the 'good' enduring living among the 'bad' is the 'cross' to be carried until the REDEEMER , REDEEMS..:) i don't see God's Earth as a punishment ,nor living on it......
-
No it's an opportunity to gain experience and complete ur karma (soul)!
-
No, dead in the earth is.
-
No way..... It is the place love exists. So it can not be a punishment.
-
I don't know about punishment, but it's no day in the park
