She really didn't give any input at all. But had it been a girl she was going to have a grandchild with her middle name. She didn't know it though. LOL invis. +5

Neither said anything. However my grandmother wanted to call me Amelia and mother decided against that.

My mother said it was my choice..15 years later she's still griping because she doesn't like the name I picked out or who I named it after (friends)..just can't win.

They had no input, we just told them their names. My Mom and Dad faught over Sandy and Susan for me, I'm a Susan, I'm glad.

My grandparents wanted my parents to change my name to Mary, after my grandmother. My mother said no, she felt children should have their own names, not be named after someone else. I am glad, I like my name.
