I could not deal with the distance for long periods of time. I might cheat on him and break both our hearts. And if the one I love dies... I just could not stand not being there.. and left alone.

Wouldn't want to date someone who was willing to kill someone else because some higher up ranked person commanded them to and people who are okay with being at war. I wouldn't want to have to live on a base or be away from them for long periods of time. I wouldn't want to be constantly scared that they'd be killed.

The number one reason is because I'm already married! My wife is the one with the experience in dating/marrying a military man, what with me being an active duty Sailor when we first met and all.
