Is this a good premise for a book / good title for the premise? A killer who targets whoever the police start to suspect. Thus the police are hesitant to suspect anyone as it's a death sentence if they're wrong. Title: A Fatal Suspicion.

So is the killer a policeman himself? As no one else would know who the suspects in a case were. Unless it's someone close to a member of the force... I do have to ask though - what if the police find a suspect for this particular murderer? Will he kill himself? Whatever, it's still a nice set up and with a bit of work could be a corker!

I'm not terribly fond of the title, but the premise sounds VERY interesting. The title sounds kind of like a Lifetime Made for TV movie.

I'm intrigued. I think the story could really kick into gear after a few suspects get killed when they weren't announced to the public, because then the police will suspect that it's someone on the inside...who will then be killed.

Sounds good! A few ideas - *)Killer could fake his own death when they start to suspect him. *)One suspect has an attempt at murder on him but does not die, thus making police more suspicious of him. *)One of the suspects could commit suicide from fear.
