Help answer this question below.

My Zune never lasts more than 3 hours straight and then the battery goes dead. I have a long trip coming up soon I will be in the airport with no computer or laptop to charge it. How can i make it last more than 3 hours?

    The backlight drains the battery FAST.

    My Sansa can go over 18 hours playing music with the screen blacked out, but lasts less than 6 if I use it to watch movies or adjust the controls too often, both of which turn the screen's backlighting on.

    Listen, don't watch ;)

    Also, set the backlight to shut off 10 seconds after the last button press. Many people leave it on 30 seconds or longer, and that will shorten your battery life considerably, especially if you change the volume a lot which (at least on mine) causes the backlight to come on.
