None near where I live.

Yes we do No, in fact you cannot hear the turbines at all unless you are literally within 100 yards of them - and then they only make a gentle swooshing noise which, given that they are on the moors where the wind is strong, pales into insignificance compared with the roar of the wind in your ears. A lot of people were hostile at first but it got built three years ago. I actually like the appearance of it, it is a local landmark. No other issues - it is popular with walkers and tourists!
