Is it possible to download advertisements when your downloading a wanted item to an MP3 player and not be aware of it?

Lets put it this way; if you are connected to the internet, your computer can download damn near anything. It doesn't matter if you have an MP3 player hooked up to transfer files or not. Most people use an always-on broadband connection. That means that any time the computer is on, it can download ads. If you aren't running blocking software then it *will*, especially if you run IE which has a love of pop-ups. However, you don't have to worry about hte ads making it to your MP3 player ;)
