I agree totally! He was a very brave man. He was given America at one of it's worst times in history and he was able to bring it all back together successfully. It is too bad he passed away before he could really celebrate his achievements and the freedom of this country. :o( It makes me sad when I think about all he did for this country, all he accomplished and someone chose to kill such a great and honorable man.

I agree, I know he's often regarded as the best president. Followed by Franklin Roosevelt and George Washington. And I actually agree with that.
It is sad that Lincoln fought hard and had his life taken from him in such a cowardly way.

I don't mean to take from this awesome president, but he only freed the slave to win the war(read about it). The Confederate States started enlisting more and more slaves into their army, once the Emancipation Proclamation was released the slaves weren't forced to fight in the war anymore... Just a little history
