I'm not sure about the Krishna-worshipping sects, but Krishna himself is allegedly quoted in the Bhagavad Gita as stating regarding the world that, "It has neither its end nor origin nor existence."

There is no "Hare Krishna Religion" to my knowledge. ISKCON is a movement spreading the message of Sri Krishna.

there is no end of the world but there will the end of a whole age. according to the Bhagvat Gita vishnu's 10th avatar will come to earth and end the kali yug. (black age) the interesting part about all this is the fact that we are currently in the kali yug ourself. the name of this 10th avatar will be kalki. 9 avatars have already come and gone and now the tenth one is yet to come. keep in mind that krishna himself was an avatar of vishnu. it does not state an exact date on when he will arrive but the specifications of the day he is born on and who he will be born into are very precise. according to the specifications, he will be born when the sun and the moon will have something in common( sorry i am still researching on this) and supposetly 2012 will have that date in it. it might be after 2012 too. i really dont know yet. i beleive that the end of the human being existance will come when it has to and there is not much we can do to stop it. oh and after kalki ends this age then the age of purity will have begun. i hope this helps. please give me a rating and i will give you a +1 since thats the highest i can give. thanks

It's already 'Ano 2066 VIKRAM' for Hindus. Mythologically the 4-yuga cylcle would continue. (Each yuga has multiples / fraction of 432,000 years?) * The Yuga may end, mankind may perish, but the universe will continue. * A concept most plausible and realistic on scale and closest to scientific truth. Now compare this with... the 'Second coming of Jesus [tomorrrow]' for last 200 years, and tomorrow never comes!

Krisna is on earth right now preventing the end of the world.

The Krishnas? I forgot about them. 30 years ago they seemed to be everywhere. Whatever happened to them? Did they quit and re-integrate into society? By the way I found this http://krishna.org/2012-the-end-of-the-world/ .
