  • Yes, so annoying! I dont care if it smells funny its all I have to eat!
  • Who says you have to listen to the comments? If you get an official lunch break, you could always find a nearby park or other outside eating area.
  • yes, i hate when they say stuff like "oh you didn't bring me any" or, Oh i am going to get me a plate. or ask Oh that looks good, who cooked it (me) Oh my goodness you know how to cook, your the first man that I have met that knows how to cook, blah blah blah, yak yak. And all i want to do is eat my lunch! (I work with 90% females)
  • I sit with those co-workers and friends who are non-judgemental :)
  • It can be a little annoying, but I usually ignore them and keep on eating. What really gets me is when someone stares at my food while I'm eating. That makes me feel uncomfortable especially when I offer them some and they say no, but they keep staring. I think it's rude.
  • I eat healthy everyday but my co-worker/friend eats high fat/greasy foods. She loves to comment on my food and how she could never eat like I do. It frustrates me that she does that every time.
  • Ever since I started Weight Watchers a little over 5 years ago and started eating healthier foods, I do get occasional comments about "what are you eating?," "why are you eating that?" "why don't you eat this?" You'd think they'd realize that, after losing over 80 lbs, they'd know the answer!
  • OMG! I hate it when that happens!
  • LOL! No!!!...Infact I used to get a comment every day... I ate EVERYTHING at work. Rice, Eggs, Kippers, Popcorn, Cereal...Fruits, Veggies...And like LOTS of it...I would get a comment from people everyday, from everyone...everytime. They would be like "Jamey, you always eat the weirdest sh*t" Like I would eat tomatoes like apples...people would freak out. Tuna..... Whatever... Even that packaged precooked bacon, cuz it was easy...lmao, whatever... I get cravings...and I get hungry, so I eat what I want. I could care less what people think, its my food...and they get a kick outta it.
  • What bothers me is when one of my co-workers comes into my cubicle while I am eating lunch at my desk and just stands there looking at my food. She has done this several times. She will stand so close to my chair that she is touching it. She'll look at my lunch and say "where did you get that?" "It looks good, all I had was peanut butter." It drives me crazy. I will set my food aside and just look at her. It takes a minute but she will get the hint.
  • It's been a long time since I was in the workplace, but in my memory, that's one of the most popular subjects around the table. I'm amazed that it would bother anybody.
