It would depend on the contract they sign.

The record for 2 boxers boxing against each other is 23. Here's a list of 10 or more bouts between two boxers:

23 Sam Langford and Harry Wills 1914-1922
20 Ted "Kid" Lewis and Jack Britton 1915-1921
15 Sam Langford and Sam McVey 1911-1920
14 Sam Langford and Joe Jeannette 1905-1917
12 Sam Langford and Jim Barry 1907-1913
11 Sam Langford and Jeff Clarke 1910-1920
11 Johnny Dundee and Willie Jackson 1917-1921
