Drop your prices. Up your "service delivery" and "customer care". Consider freebies. Be more friendly.

that is the greatest problem that the world faces right now. It is the ultimate downfall of what was created of society when 1 machine not only sells more than several people but has had robots creating the products for it as well... resulting in monopoly via people capable of programming.

hit the street with a sign...cut a few deals....advertise, and really find out why theres no more customers...maybe theirs a problem with the product, the service...or you?...who knows. But find a solution, and fast....its money thats being lost.

Put yourself in the customer's shoes so you can understand why you have none anymore. Then you adapt to gain more.

Depends - Do you mean you have no customers or do you mean you've saturated the market and there are no NEW customers to acquire?

If you are in a manufacturing business, you may need to either find new markets or diversity your product mix.

If you are in a service business, I'd begin by polling your past clients. Let them tell you why they don't use you anymore.

Evaluate a company that is in the same business who isn't out of customers.

See what they are doing different than you are.

Emulate them and a little bit more and try to get a bigger market share.

    Reorganize.

#1 Your product or service doesn't encourage or promote "repeat" customers.

#2 You've neglected to generate new customers while servicing current and/or previous customers.

#3 Consider starting a new business.

Create new products, repackage the old products, use surveys and marketing to find new customers, have a sale, have some sort of promotion other than a sale, etc.

Best not to run out of customers. The #1 task of a business owner is to always be thinking where his next customer will come from and to always be working on that. It should be an ongoing practice, never ceasing.

Get more. As i periodically answer questions on AB today, I am making direct contact, cold-calling if you will. You can also try upselling existing customers, also you can try offering a discount on future services to existing customers with any completed referrals they provide you.

If you have run out of customers for a product you sell, the product is obsolete. Sell something else.
