I used a razor blade on mine.

Maybe a razor blade scraper and some WD-40 or 'Goo-Gone' would work. That seems to do the trick for most adhesives. That's tough stuff on those tags so I'm not sure.

goo gone works the best . use a razor balde or putty knife to scrape off. ( i use my snow brush thingy to scrape stuff off all the time.)

two things work wonders and are dirt cheap.. alcohol usually removes adhesives or apply heat from a heat gun (not to hot), but don't use a metal scraper because it'll rip the paint off. Use something like a credit card or even steel wool, but be gentle and work slow with it.. 10 yrs doing body work ;) 4 at Uncle Earls (Schribes)

We've usually just been able to pull the old ones off without using any kind of solvent.
-
Why remove them? I clean it with alcohol then put the new one on top.

putty knife

Try Goo-Gone. Might work.

WD-40 will remove the adhesive. I've never removed mine... I just place the new one over the old one.
