In NASCAR does the Toyota use Toyota engine componets or is it just the Toyota skin for the body and Toyota sponsorship?

    In NASCAR, the manufacturers actually build the engines for their race cars (GM builds the Chevy engines, Ford builds Ford, etc.). However, these engines must meet a very strict list of specifications (Depending on the series).

    No, unlike it's domestic counterparts, Toyota's never put a push-rod V8 between the fenders of any automobile. Whereas Chevrolet, has manufactured 90 million small block push-rods since 1955.

    Manufacturers build Blocks Heads and Intakes for independant builders,They ie Roush,DEI,Hendricks,all have thier own engine programs and use thier own Nascar approved, ( Wink ) Parts
