Bounce a ball off a wall, or take a walk.

Depressed and home alone, I would leave the house.
No TV, pc, or technology, I would read a book, work on a craft, draw something, look at old pictures, scrap book old pictures, clean, re-organize, come up with an idea to improve something and so forth.

Either try to find something to keep my mind occupied so that I don't make myself feel worse by cycling negative thoughts, or just try to sleep until my mood improves. Sometimes, just getting out of the house and taking a walk can help some. Of course if you suffer from clinical depression, you could benefit from professional/medical intervention.

I'd travel to visit a friend, so at least I was not ALONE.

When I am "depressed to the EXTREME," is when I need my friends, the most.
