Do you stalk your prey for a while before taking the perfect photo or do you just snap photos randomly?

Both. I like to keep my options wide open.

I stalk long enough to try and get a picture with few to no obstructions. If for some reason the prey is spooked, the picture just wasn't meant to be taken at that time. Either way I thank God for giving me the chance to see what it was I saw, and I move on. With the abundance of subjects in my state, there's a good possibility that I'll get another chance.
