Do you ever chat to strangers when you go out shopping? (I tend to chat to old people a lot).

I chat with strangers once in awhile. What I will do to start a conversation with someone in line, is when I step in line behind them, I say, "I did you a big favor, just now." When they ask how so, I say, "Well, you are no longer at the END of this line, right?"

Sometimes I do. It just depends on persons and situations.

I don't go up to strangers and just start talking, but I will always talk to people who are waiting on me to make them feel comfortable. I will talk to people if there is a reason to or just smile. I smile at everyone, I think it promotes good vibes.

I always do. Its amazing how damn grouchy some people are. Others talk to you like they have known you forever.
