I thought "Misery" was a good book and movie. There are a couple of things in the book and movie that don't match, but overall I thought both were good.

Dolores Claiborne, by Stephen King. They did a outstanding job with the movie. It really did follow the book well. Misery tried but the ending was a disappointment, however it was really too graphic to portray it correctly in a movie.

LORD OF THE RINGS rocks in both mediums! Peter Jackson knew how to make a good movie without even trying to reproduce the experience of reading a great novel (we already had that)
