What is a humane way to remove mice that doesn't involve poisoning, drowning, electrifying or squishing them?

There are mousetraps that catch them alive. Then you can release them outside if you want.

Pied Piper? lol Yep, Hrududu is correct, there are live preserving mouse traps. You could also get a cat.

Either a cat >^..^< Or a revolving mousetrap. But then you do have to have a place to release them where they won't bother anyone else.

Clean your damn house. :p Joking lol. One way is to get a cat. Sure you'll have dead mice for a bit, but after a while they won't come back if the cat is efficient, or you can get those mouse traps that don't actually kill the mice, but they're a little pricey. Still, reusable.

You buy mouse traps that allow a mouse to get in and but can't get out. Then you can dispose it which ever way you want.

Mice are rodents just like rats, my God we have a different opinion of them in Europe, remember the Black Death,oh that's right you never had it in America. Collecting them up in a little box and releasing them outside isn't the answer, they will only be back in your house 2 or 3 days later. Call an exterminator if you want a permanent solution.

Wow, what a sweetie you are! so kind and compassionate towards animals others think of as pests. Points for compassion. I agree with the catch and release mousetrap idea, but unfortunately they will just come back. If not that mouse, then another. It helps to get rid of their food supply as well. This involves getting rid of bird feeders, cat and dog food left outside and the like, as well as blocking all holes and entry into the house

I had a mouse problem in my apartment for a while. I set traps. I killed a few but now there are no mice in my place. It may be sad to have to kill a few mice but they learn quickly and apparently they leave. I'd rather a few dead mice than having them eating and contaminating all my food.
