I don't know about a job, and especially since it's so tough right now to get any jobs for those who can work legally, I suggest him/her to volunteer. That's such an easy way to get in the door with a business they are interested in b/c they build relationships and networking. And there is such a great need for volunteers now, especially with animal rescue groups, hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and even daycares or summer school programs. Whatever peaks interests for that individual, there is always an opportunity to volunteer :)

Ya, get a lawnmower and start hoofing it up and down your street, make sure to carry a bucket with some car cleaning products because you might just find a few cars on your street that need a good cleaning also...One last thought, paper route...
