Kids that act up or get in trouble trying to get attention. Crying out for attention/help.

a cry for attention. when the sound of crying but the eyes produce no tears.

Sometimes when I watch the news and there's someone crying there, I feel an ache in my heart for their pain. I also have that happen when I hear of someone's relatives being sick or dying.

I am thinking it would be when a young child cries a "fake" cry. Making the noise but no tears are involved. They are annoying!!! +5
