Does the French language have the right to be recognized as an official language in all of Canada, from sea to shining sea, from B.C. to Newfoundland?

I'm not from there, so I can't say what a language deserves. I think the people deserve to choose the language based on the makeup of the population and the general policy of the area at large. I know that English is very popular in Canada as well as France, so I don't know if the French language is necessarily ready to dominate. Maybe I am wrong! Either way, good to see you!

It would depend on what the Canadian people want, either a French speaking zone and an English speaking one or an absolutely bilingual country. . It will depend on the people.

Canada is officially a two language country, by law.

Languages don't have rights. And to force an entire nation to learn a language that only a small percentage [>50%] of the people speak is unreasonable, be it French OR Spanish.

The French were the first to set up a colony in Canada in Quebec. The English came about 6 years later and set up a colony in Newfoundland.So both are fine,and should be equally represented.
