Yes it is. However laws are so lax in Jamaica it is unlikely one would ever get caught and even if you did you could probably bribe the police. I don't think the government will ever make it legal as they are conservative and the church holds much influence.

im jamaican and honestly a lot of people there smoke weddd but nobody gives a sh""t. if it were illegal trust dat half the population would be in jail. we have too many problems to worry about than people smokin weed. i never hav and dont plan on it but honesly it just makes u fee godd and is like recreational. no harm in doing it. oh but its done at ur own risk so if u die or watever dats on u.
