Have always admired this lady!! she came from nowhere and through hard work, & a little luck, became world-famous......I do think, though, that had she not become involved with one wealthy man, that her rise to fame would have been as fast as it was....but she contributed a lot to the world of fashion, thru just good, common sense as to fit, style, etc....& of course there's her Chanel No. 5 fragrance which has never stopped selling since the 1920's!!!!!!
