Go to your doctor...NOW...there is no reason for you to feel this depressed. Depression is now known to be caused by an imbalance in chemicals in your system. You can feel better. Please see a doctor. They really can help you.

get out and do stuff!!! im not kidding, try everything you can to keep from having to take any kind of drugs for it, it will become a prison later. go hiking, go hang with friends out for dinner, have a few drinks with the girls/guys depending if you are male or female. The trick to depression is activity! it creates a sloth like attitude and you have to fight that...remember, you are the only person who is capable of doing things right for yourself 100%. get up, get going, get off the computer, and do whatever it is you enjoy doing best. you can get over whatever it is thats bothering you. good luck!

It's a good idea to go to your doctor. Depression is quite common. Asking for help is a good start. Good luck and best wishes.

It's a first and important step you just took by asking this question your now asking. Depression is not something you ask for, or "catch". It can be triggered by several upheavels closely or not so closely occuring in your daily life. These "upheavels" or mood shocks can knock the hormones in your brain called saratonim off kilter, and result in an imbalance of them which then show up as depression. It's fixable, thank goodness, cause a lot of people suffer from it around the world. I did, and take something called Lamictal, which is a anti=convulsant and/or mood stabalizer (your doctor will find the med's that suit you best, usually through a bit of trial and error) but today I am back to myself (shrieks of horror from crowds of people) .... and so is the balance of seritomin in my noodle (brain) ... Go to your doctor, you'll be so hapy you did, and know that your not alone, but that you can do something about making it all ok again. Good luck. And I mean that.

I would advise you to see your doctor. The sooner the better. I tried to keep on going thinking I could pull through and dismissing anything was wrong. I did all the things that you're suppose to do, exercise, change of diet, coffee mornings with friends etc, etc... and completely fell apart. So don't wait... sometimes we do need medication to get us back on track. All the best : )
