We used to have a clock with an animated bird that moved and sang at the top of each hour.

So was it hot in the city today? We were 87! I had to use the ceiling fans because it was really hot upstairs. We worked on the hot tub :-)

Maybe so, but there are actual "singing bird" clocks that actually sing a song...which is what I believe this person is talking about.
